emotional landscapes. What is not evident and what is manifested..

Under the direction of Judith Saylor on October 19 and 20, two groups of artists, ACto (Tarifa) and KITCHEN (Gibraltar) carried out an experimental workshop in a space located in the fertile plain of Tarifa. A progressive work from the individual to the collective through suggestion, evocation and introspection. Immersed in an atmosphere created with different audios and with different space-personal relationships, we create a network of emotions, sensations and content that we use as a link between the group and as the beginning of our personal project. As a game and accidentally and experimentally, with the materials offered by the organization, our own and those shared, we searched for a creative thread of expression. The baggage of each one, their memories allowed to create a multiple and rich map.

The score found in the Hyeronimus Bosch triptych, the first known melody written by man, Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal and a fragment of Vox Balaenae by avant-garde composer George Henry Crumb served as catalysts to create a work from the most intimate to group synergy. .

The works were made in situ and in my case, enjoying a certain self-imposed precariousness in terms of materials, a restricted palette and limited elements. I decided to work only in the proposed hours of the workshop, two intensive days and in the spaces offered. a delight

Thanks to Judith Saylor for creating this meeting and to the members of the attending groups; Ania Maza, TRacy Church Rodriguez, Karen Emslie, Phoebe Kelly, Oliver Conessa, Aimie Desoisa, Alan Perez, Patricia Imossi, Naomi MArtinez, Manuel Ortiz, Judith Saylor, Lizzane Figueras and Viña Winniarczyk
